Netflix arrives to Spain

Netflix has arrived in Spain. What is it and how does it work? Here you have some tutorials and suggestions to start using Netflix, whether if you are from Spain or not.

What is Netflix?
Netflix is a service which requires a subscription and an internet connection. There are three types of subscription (7, 99 €, 9, 99€ and 11, 99€). Once you have your subscription, you can log in from your computer, your Smart TV or your Smartphone (or from anything with internet). You can watch TV series, movies and documentaries.

The interface is very simple. You have different categories to choose from (for example, foreign movies or documentaries).

You can create your own list with what you would like to watch, instead of looking for it in the categories. The navigation, I insist, is very simple and you can never get lost (maybe just overwhelmed by the number of contents).

Netflix also remembers where you stopped watching the last time. So if you were watching a series yesterday, you can continue today from that exact point.

Netflix also recommends you some series and movies you would maybe enjoy. It offers you a list with the latest tendencies.

While watching something, you can easily configure the program to watch the episode or the movie in English or in Spanish (or in the language of the country you are from).

What to see.

Here you have some suggestions of what to watch in Netflix, but of course it is your opinion the one which counts, these are just some ideas.

House of Cards
Kevin Spacey, politics, intrigues… nothing else to say. This original Netflix series is just perfect if you don´t know where to start from… or if you have a great taste. The darkest side of the American dream. The series is always available in Netflix, so you just take your time to enjoy this masterpiece (is my humble opinion…).

BBC content
Sherlock, Luther, Top Gear, the Musketeers… The BBC provides to Netflix its best series to enjoy them. Of course, they are translated (but, of course, the original voices are always better). Nothing else to say, just enjoy these British series… and by the way, some documentaries.

Tons of films
You can, as I have said, enjoy movies in Netflix. From classics such as Forrest Gump or The Lord of the Rings to much modern movies like The Hunger Games, Inception or Pacific Rim. The catalogue is always evolving so new movies will arrive soon.

Netflix original series
And to finish, you have original series from Netflix like Marco Polo, Narcos, Daredevil or Orange is the new Black. You should always have in mind these series and documentaries, because most of them have quite a good quality. However, maybe you should not have children around when watching these series…

Racing Time

New year, and a new tab for Motor sports. In this new section you will have full HD races of multiple disciplines. Don´t worry about moral matters, all the races are legally “provided” by the official channels of each competition. So enjoy this selection of races…

The DTM has ended… but believe me; in Spain not so many people know it. Here you have both races of the Hockenheim´s weekend. The first race was problematic, with some incidents, and the rainy conditions made the second race a little bit more intense than usual. Hope you enjoy.

NASCAR race… So what does that mean? Prepare your sofa, prepare some coffee and maybe something to eat. Four hours of non-stop NASCAR racing in the Charlotte motor speedway starting in a beautiful evening and ending in the night. A true resistance race for both the drivers… and the viewers.

REWIND RACE (F1: South Africa 1992)
And now let’s end with a classic F1 race. The South African GP of 1992, with the commentaries of the BBC team of that time (the legends Murray Walker and James Hunt). In a race where Ayrton Senna struggled against the Williams and half of the grid had problems due to the mechanical problems.

Madrid is the capital city of Spain, and it’s located in the center of the Iberian Peninsula.
It’s a cosmopolitan city which combines the most modern buildings a huge cultural heritage, legated from years of thrilling history.

In Madrid you can find different kinds of entertainment: There are some museums such as Reina Sofia, Thyssen and the most important one, El Prado. You can also see some historical buildings such as “El Palacio Real”. If you go to Madrid a visit to the emblematic parks and squares such as the “Plaza Mayor” and “El Retiro” is a must.

La Puerta Del Sol is one of the most popular and busiest places in Madrid. This is the center of the radial network of Spanish roads, that is, it shows the km 0. Moreover, it contains the famous clock which marks the traditional eating of the twelve grapes in New Year.

El Oso y El Madroño”

It is the most famous symbol of Madrid and it has been the emblem of the city from the middle Ages. It is a 20 ton statue of a bear eating fruits from a tree.

El Retiro is the most important park in Madrid since it was opened in 1868. Here, there are many zones to visit and activities to enjoy with; since going for a walk to have a nice trip on boat.
Here, you can find different zones or areas, the busiest one is THE POND , were you can rent a boat to go for a rowing trip in the pond with your friends or, as it’s very typical, with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Gran Vía, without any doubts is the most important street of Madrid, where you can find many people at any time of the day. Some time ago, when it was full of cinemas and theatres, it was known as Madrid’s Broadway.
